...I'm always in and out of the woods collecting different peices. I know about all the ways of cleaning/preparing them etc.
But yesterday I found a beautiful hollowed out log its about 2foot long and 6"diameter. Perfect for the corns viv Only problem is its riddled with wood worm....Do you think its destined to go back to the woods? or not?

There's a few ways...
Soaking in Boiling Water A weak bleach solution Freezing (if it fits in ur freezer lol) Stick it in the oven

None of its 100% safe, thats the risk of getting from the woods. I personally do the whole lot lol

I find the wood, scrub it down first with a weak bleach solution then again with washing up liquid. I then soak it for a couple of hrs in boiling water. I then freeze it over night and if my mums not in a blast it in the over lol
