I was going to use roof slate in my beardie set-up but decided not to take the chance and bought some form B&Q for £4 and it did the trick. I didn't fancy the idea of something that could of been sat on the roof of a building for hundreds of years with birds using as a toilet going into my tank. I guess that if it was disinfected properly then there shouldn't be a problem but i wouldn't risk my beardies life, and plus he's only a baby

I use the orange ones in for my corns, I either rest them on a rock or pieces of cut down plastic drain pipe or guttering. Put one in once until I could get a hide and found it liked it so placed them in my other vivs.
