Default Gradient?

Hi, im having trouble with the temp gradient in my 2ft wood viv for my dwaf boa. Never had trouble with this in my old vivs with them being alot longer. The hot spots under the ceramic is 30degrees, hot side 26>28 and cool sides 25>26. Is the only way to get it down a bit is drilling more vent holes in the cool side ya reckon?

cheers

more ventialtion will probably help, go steady though, don't to too muhc too quickly. Add a few holes, wait and test and carry on llike that. don't forget you don't want it so well ventilated that it holds no humidity.

Yeh i'll try a few first and see how it goes. Humidity is 50>55 so cant really afford to drop much.
