Default heavy vivs

im not sure whether to build a stack or build another viv to go on the one ive just built, the thing is they both need soil and sand substrate which is quite heavy so im not sure what would be safer they would be 6ft long so they could bow in the middle
any ideas

thanks
martin

Well if your wanting soil in as the substrate, you could use say an old bathtub, u can get them at tips, just clean em out, if it's gona be 6 foot im guessing your using it for a monitor or tegu? then you could build the wood onto the tub, just an idea

It all depends on the build quality

they're pretty much the same really.. the only difference is that 2 vivs will have a roof and a floor compared to a stack just (usually) having 1 piece of wood seperating the 2.

Just weld or bolt together a metal frame that all the vivs sit in rather than resting on top of each other. It's much easier to do that it sounds

Only an idea but why dont you build a wooden 'frame' out of lengths of 2x1" or something and fix them to the underside of each viv. That way they will support the bases.
