Default Well This Has To Be A First

I'm so confused right now.

Last weekend i notice my boa go into shed so i do the same as always.

Tip the bowl over and wet the aubiose/aspen substrate and mix it all around to dampen it.

This dries in 24-48hrs and just gives a nice humidity to shed and is bone dry again by that point.

So i did that Sunday and by Monday night it was DRY, boa shed thursday.

I check some stuff last night and only found flipping MUSHROOMS growing in there, i saw 1 on the side and thought whhaattt???

Lift up the hide and there's a clump i mean you what? How the heck have mushrooms appeared lol, i've seen the odd bit of mould where a bit's stayed damp but not flipping 6" mushrooms overnight.....

Rach

Were they edible ones or "special" ones?

I found exactly the same thing in my tort enclosure....

Ours had soil in so I preSHROOMed that there was something in the soil (sorry).

Your not alone anyway although they did look like we could have been high as kites if we had added them to our tea!

Anyone else had mushrooms in their enclosures?
