I dont let my equipment get skanky but i have a baby in the house so have to ensure everything is salmonella free to my best ability. that includes the sink in which i clean everything.

The stuff i use Cascade cleaning disinfectant is and it kills of salmonella amongst other things.

boiling water every week and a descale every month or so then rinsed to death then boiling water

its the best and the only thing that really genuinely is safe and works
