ive read a few threads looked at a few threads and people use many different substrates which ones are good and which are bad?

1 appears to be compost
2 sand
3 paper towels
4 towels
5 newspaper
6 tiles
7 card
8 sawdust
9 coconut fibre

thats basically it , give some feed back which are good, bad, just plain stupid , unsafe , good looking , awful and stuff
