Default fake rocks for viv sealant q?

can some-one please tell me if PVA glue alone can be used to seal the fake rocks/walls you can build for vivs not varnish? Also can you use any VA glue? This may sound stupid but is the PVA glue you get from craft shops or the PVA sealant stuff you can get in like Wickes the same stuff? Does it matter what make etc - I'm only asking as you need aquarium sealant for vivs so would the PVA glue to a specific type also or have certain ingrediants in it so make it safe/non toxic? Also how many coats of PVA do you need and how long before it can be used in a viv? Sorry for all the questions but I would really appreciate a reply - thank you

The only problem ive found with pva, opposed to varnish is that it cant get wet. Once dry if you use a mister or any water on pva glue, it goes back to being tacky.

Your normal PVA glue (not the child safe/washable version) is fine. Gives it a good finish and makes it waterproof.

This will be a stupid question im sure but is it clear?
Went to buy some the other day and the bloke in B&Q didn't have a clue!
Plus does it have to be watered down etc?
Cheers
