i have used habistat in the past but switched to a microclimate themostate and found them to be brill as every thing is built in to the unit unlike habitistat where you have to buy extra gear for the night time temp drop . i just wondered what everybody else preferred

the microclimate themostat i use is dl2 with magic eye for the night time temp drop .built in alarm. a sensor to adjust the magic eye for the night settings

microlimates here as well i dont like the easy to turn knobs on habistat to easy to knock onto the wrong setting etc etc

I use pulse stats from both companies, and while I reckon the Habistat pulse stats are maybe a tiny bit more accurate than the Microclimate pulses, I prefer the design of the Microclimates due to the lack of a knob, the presence of a power indicator LED, and the price

those knobs have disappeared on many of the habistat ones now

i like and use both brands of thermostat... but if i had to pick a money-no-object favourite then it would be the microclimate ADCS unit... as i like my toys
