Default Vivs on Vivs

Hi folks.

Just a quick question.

I have just recently moved Mister Twysty into his home made 3ft wooden viv.
Im seriously thinking about getting a few more hatchlings.

Can I put a heat mat on top of my viv and keep them in tubs without affecting the heat in the lower viv to much ??. The viv rood is about 20mm thick melamine (?)
Or would I be better putting a sheet of polystyrene between the roof and hetmat as insulation ??

Many Thanks

Dizzy

yeah it should be ok. obviously heat goes up so i don't see why not. if you wanted to be extra sure you could always put some aquarium foam board between the mat and the viv
