You can get the glass from your local glassier, have a look in the yellow pages. I actually got mine from my local rep shop. You should get either 4 or 6mm glass making sure that you have an overlap.

When building stacked vivs most people go for using old or secondhand wardrobes some buy new ones. It works out so much cheaper. Someone on here bought a wardrobe for 15 quid and the vivs look excellent. As for the measurements it's heigh enough but deopends what you are keeping in there. Nothing to big as it isn't really wide enough.
As for glass go to your local glass cutters. MOst people buy toughened glass but i was quoted 80 quid for 2 panes measuring 2 foot each. 6mm glass is strong enough, it's what i used for my beardy viv.

It was a place in northfleet kent. I rang him and he quoted me 80 quid. I laughed and said no way! But 6mm does the job just as good. But i think toughened glass is a definate for tortoises and big reptiles, as they like to bang against it alot.
