Does anyone know where I can buy the lighting unit for the Exo Terra vivs.

when i first used a exo terra viv i had a light shade ontop of the mesh lid so that there was heat from the top as well as a heat mat underneath the bottom of the viv

I was after the official Exo Terra light unit. I have been told that they are not out in the UK until May..... Thanks for all the help

You wont be able to find the Exo-Terra compact top! Basically if you contact Exo-Terra themselves they will tell you to order through your local dealer, i tried but they order "through" Hagen or EuroRep and neither will stock them! So i bought the metal one from BJ Herps and it works perfectly! just as good and no doubt cheaper!

They are £29.99 with BJ Herps, not to badley priced. What watt bulb would you recommend to heat the Exo Terra (its the 30x30x45)

quick point, Exo-Terra are Hagen just a name under the main company Rolf C Hagen,

Eurorep are the producers of Habistat Equipment & One of the largest trade/wholesale suppliers.

The issue with most electronic equipment from hagen is it has to pass god knows what kind of EEC electrical tests.

This means the lighting hoods, compact UVB & Solar Glo (the MV UVB bulb) will be delayed till later this year.

We have just however received this product today,
