you should be fine aslong as your extension leads have fuses in the plugs and arent ehose horrible little 2 or 3 way square blocks you can buy but the strips with 4 or more sockets on them..

I have surge protection extension sockets, very safe. you can get em in Argos..

and your own cable ties are easier than that jml zipper thingy, and you can just chop em open if you need to replace anything

one of my biggest paranoia’s is a fire I really worry about it.

I think if you have a plug with an extension bar plugged in and that full up then I dont think it can really be a fire risk because otherwise they wouldnt sell them them in my room I have 2 5 plug extentions one full up and the other with 2 things plugged into it.

Obviously I havnt got an extention bar plugged into another extention bar because that would be dangerous but in all I have about 9 things plugged in.

Really i have a few in my house and my brother whose an electrician set them up for me ..GRL electrics in Coventry ..

as long as your electrical equipment is not sub standard and out dated you should be ok .my rep room is absolutely over run with wires it is somtimes a worry but i have to say your more at risk of electrocution than fire
