hmmm toughened glass is quite expensive. I just went for 6mm glass which is strong enough

Was gonna say i had glass for my 4x3 viv and that was 4mm toughened.
Was £35.

Sum ppl go for 4mm glass due to the thickness of the bottom piece of wood on the viv(if u know wat ui mean)

i got 4 pieces. 2 were 2.6 ft x 1ft and 2 were 2.6ft by 9 inches and they quoted £54 (standard 6mm) then they called me back saying it should have been £34 as they quoted for polished edges.

I am about to order 4mm toughened glass with ground smoothed edges, 2 sheets measuring 12x19" each and the quote is £30-£35 including VAT. You actually have to pay extra for the ground smoothed edges, it would have been about £20-£25 without.
