Default Crack in viv

I want to convert a kinda small wardrobe into a viv.......but it has a big crack in it which exposes the inside wood....is there anyway i can use it by doing something with the wardrobe


please help .thanks.

you could seal the crack with silicon

the crack is pretty wide though would it make a difference like its about a centi metre wide........and would i have to use aqarium silicone

yeh, use aquarium sealant, it should do the job fine.
you could , if the crack is quite wide, use a wood filler, try and find a solvent free one though, and then cover the filler with a couple of coats of yacht varnish to seal it.

i probally should also ask now that theres a thread....do i have to seal anything else as it just used to be a wardrobe ?
