You can buy an adapter to change the fitting from bayonet to edison screw (up to 60w only)

or here

We sell angled ones in the shop but I believe any electrical place or even B&Q will probably sell them?

I recommend screw fittings to people now because my electrician told me bulbs are more likely to blow in a bayonet fitting in a viv, as the pins might get jostled, and that screw ones are considered safer which is why they are all that's manufactured on mainland EU now. Also Exo Terra and Zoo med only do screw.

yup thats true.... the movement isnt as safe in bayonettes,.. so if u canget screw i would... we searched high and low fo screws fittings then we gave up and went for bayonette... it does the job although we may change it at a later date

I find it a lot harder to get the bayonett fitting reflector bulbs, and usually not as cheap as the screw in [2 for £1 many places]

But the angled fittings i can get from wilkinsons for 79p are bayonett so in one viv i do have the bayonett reflectors but i also use the bayonett to edison screw convertrs like in the links provided earlier.

FIXX... do you know if all those are just rated for up to 60w? or just the maplin one? i got some from livefoods you see and it doesnt say.. :S i assumed they were ok up to 100w.
