Exclamation Is this pine!

Right, I added this to my new boas viv and was sure it wasn't pine but a friend of mine seems to think it is

All wood in the viv has been soaked in bleach and thoroughly dried before adding to the viv, its a shot in the dark but does anyone have an opinion on wether this perch is toxic pine or not.....and if it is pine...due to it being extremly old and dry would the harmfull oils be non exsistant?

Sooner the better I know so I can pull it down if needs be

Thanks in advance like always

Default Rubber wood - Hevea

Its rubber wood buddy

Taken from the rubber tree after all the sap has been taken for making rubber none the less

Type it into google and you will get pictures of it made into all sorts
Very popular with kitchen trolleys and the like

Look at the small tick in the grain and look on google images

Joiner by trade and work with the stuff

Mike

Means I don't need to pull it down!

Was a gamble putting it on forum bit I knew a good joiners eye would set me straight!

Thanks a lot
