Ive got a small piece of cork bark, a driftwood branch (I think) and a largish log that I use in my beardies vivs. Thought I would give them a clean so put them in the bath and poured over a few kettles of boiling water then added more hot water out the tap and poured in a bottle of bleach. Left them to soak for a few hours then rinsed thoroughly.
Ive left them out to dry, they seem to have went a whitish colour though. Firstly how long should they be left out to dry for and can someone please confirm that they will indeed be 100% safe for my beardies? Just the whiter appearance they've taken on is making me wonder. Thanks in advance Danny |

I hope not.
the bottle had 750ml and I put about 15 litres of water in which would make it a 5% solution. Thats what Ive seen posted on the forum (5-10%) so went for the weakest option to be on the safe side. Let me know if thats wrong? |
