would it work ?
hi.. my dad and myself have build homes for animals befor...
mainly mouse tanks.. with easy access to spereate for breeding.. and such... and recently we made out first viv.. we made it from wood from ikea wich we bought for £3 for a whole trolly load... (amazing what ikea give away now days) but whilst i was out and about with ym dad searching for glass (the cheaper the better) we saw an amazing wall unit... now this is where my question comes into effect  the unit is a wall unit consisting of a cupboard at the bottom (double door) a centre bit wich is like a cocktail cabinet (drop down door) with class in the middle.. and top is a double door with glass in... £10 so we were going to buy it untill i thought if it would work how we wanted... basicaly (with sealing) would it work as a viv... obviously we will seal around the edges.. and insert vents... but would this work ? could i use a wall unit as a viv ? or would there be a problem ?? i think the unit was made of chipboard but was covered in a vinyl wood effect thing peace James

I think it should. Only thing you should check is what painting or gloss or what ever is it.. Some can be dangerous to reptiles i think?

not painted... its a vinyl stick on stuff.. like plastic.. covers up nasty chipboard..
the main query was the chipboard.. dicipating the heat... would it affect the viv at all ?
