Talking Branches

Hi,
Hope someone can offer a little advice i was thinking of cutting my own branches for my vivs, are there any sort of tree's does anyone know which will be okay and which to avoid.

i have some fields and have gorse...could i use that it a tank...because some is just branch and no prickkle, and i would bleach it and maybe sand it...it looks good.
Could it be used?

depends what your putting in. but make sure to avoid pine trees also fir trees. there poisonous

I read that fruit tree branches ar ok.

Fruit tress are nice. Branches that have been cut for some time, but not left on the ground seem to work best for me. It's probably a good idea to strip the bark off (the only way I found was to whittle away with a stanley knife). Then bake it in the oven if it's small, or put it in the bath with some bleach.

I just got a huge piece of wood that will just fit in a 5*2 viv. Lovely shape and just 15 quid! It's an ex-display piece and there's some droppings on it. It'll take some cleaning but at that price I couldn't resist.
