Default Grass border

Hey Been a while!

Anyway, my beardie is still a miserable swine as ever, just sitting in the cold and the dark... so i'm trying everything to try and cheer him up!

Next on my list is trying to make him feel like he's hiding, without him actually tucking him self away.

My intention is to get some dry reeds and/or grass and stick them in some plastic/clay like substance which will then go hard to create like a thin grass border between him and the rest of the world.

I'm going to have to find something that is non-toxic and all of that, but can anyone find any fundamental flaws in my plan?
