Eurorep in a few months apparently, according to Vision who I emailed. I'm going to be after some racks for my royals. Dreading the prices though, buy the time they convert from dollars to pounds then add a markup. Eurorep aren't cheap anyway.

Damn our american cousins for having all the good stuff at decent prices!

I got the same reply when trying to find a supplier of the smallest vision cage. They do one about 24" x 12" x 16" for $110 which as the pound is at the best exchange rate for 26 years would be the time to buy. Anybody out there shipping from U.S.A?

Yeah, the email I got wasn't overly helpful. I asked about shipping direct from the USA but didn't get an answer. Agree totally about the conversion rate, great for getting those books you were fancying rom Amazon.com though, even with express shipping, still cheaper than buying them over here Mind you if they shipped direct from the our delightful government would screw us on the duty! Britain is supposed to be all for foreign trade, which it is, as long as they can have the lions share of any profit margin you might have had!

FORgot to add: GarySumpter, have you seen the page on visions website about some f their customers, including Graziani etc, they can't be that wrong about them Be nice if we could get some good stuff over here for a change!

We wont have any Visionariums in the first container but will start stocking them in the second container onwards.
When comparing the costs of bringing the racks in yourselves don't forget, you will have an import duty applied and VAT.
The prices you will see on EuroReps web site shortly are similar to the European prices and a little cheaper than bringing them in yourselves.
The first container is nearly all pre ordered already and it's not due to arrive until December.

Peter, do you have any idea as to the costs of the hatchling rack 9L tubs approximately?

I know all about VAT and Duty. Cheapest way would be to get them shipped into France and take a lorry or van over to collect them, only 15% instead of 17.5%. Or keep your british bank account and move to the USA.

I am afraid I am not selling the tubs seperately yet, but I will be on the next container.
Travel to France wouldn't make them any cheaper as they're not available there yet!! And the shipping and travel costs.....I know- we distribute Herptek cages and they are made in France!
No one imports Vision plastic cages as they are not cost effective in containers. They are big empty boxes full of air and there is no way to get many in a container.
These things are cheaper in the USA as they are made there. International shipping with duty and taxes is very expensive and this has to reflect in the prices.
The Vision racks we have priced competitively and hope to have in stock once the containers start arriving to ship for next day delivery.
Any questions, please feel free to main me directly on peterf@eurorep.co.uk.
Apologies to the froum admin if this is in breach of regulations. Please delete if necessary.
Best regards,
Pete
