Default ventalation

how much ventalation do you actually need? my upcoming viv is 6ftx3ftx3ft, looked at some soffit vents in b+q which are about 70mm.. how many would i need roughly? dont really want to loose to much heat cos its a big viv but appreciate ventalation is important. btw the viv is startin to look good so will try post pics when its done any help please! thanks

In my 3ft viv I put 2 vents near the base and 2 near the top on the side panels. I may have put a couple in the back panel on a 6ft viv? But just guesswork really.

2 at the bottom and 3 at the top! hot air rises and is pushed out the top vents drawing fresh air through the bottom 2 vents. you can buy viv vents on ebay then use a hole saw to fit them! (can get the hole saw off ebay to)
