Thumbs up 2x2x2 Viv Approx Cost Please

Hi guys

I would like to start building my own wooden vivs, and will start with some 2x2x2 to house sindle leo's in

Anyone know roughly how much they will be to make if I get most of the stuff, wood etc from b&Q.......just windering as if it only saves a couple of quid I may as well buy them already made up......

Hi, you dont need a 2 foot high viv for leo's, IMO thats a waste of space.

What do you reckon......1.5ft high, but keep width and depth at 2ft each

1' is high enough. They are really rbbish climbers

You can get away with a foot, but with say 3" for the plinth, that only leaves 9" to see them, id go for 15" or 18".

Ah yeah, i supose. But it would look nice to have a low 'roof'. It doesnt matter weather it is 1' or 15". they will always be on the ground. SO you would be looking into thin air.

15" or 18" is plenty for Gecko's........thats what I keep mine in and they look fine....

20-25 quid. My 4'x2'x2.5' cost 50 quid.
