Default Steam cleaning

Is Steam cleaning wood to go inside a viv ok for killing any potential nastys living on it ?

im no expert but aslong as you done it thouraly it should b ok? steam should be the same as boiling water which is ok to use... someone else please back me up? lol

Same goes, though if I remember correctly steam is actually hotter than boiling water. But yes so long as it is done throughly it should be okay

I am not sure it will work. I have tried it the steam loses temperature too quickly. (A warm bath would steam!) I tried to kill mealworm beatles that were a pain in my redfoot encloseure. It did not work! Place a thermoniter in the steam and you will see what I mean.
