I normally use newspapers in the bottom of my vivs easy to remove clean etc etc .

But one of my snakes loves to get under the paper i was wondering is there any harm in have shredded newpaper in the tank so he can hide in .

I feed in seperate tub so no risk of impaction .

That's absolutly fine, i have done it before with no probs

Just make sure the paper your using wont give paper cuts, i haven't found newspaper too (which is what your going to use), so shouldn't have any probs
