would a crested gecko baby be ok in a 32inch long 14 inch depth 18 inch hight glass tank or would the lack of vents make it to humid and cause problems

Ideally, it should be a lot taller. You need an arboreal viv

you could turn it on its end so its 18wide and 32high. Fit a glass runner around the bottom going up a few inches, pop some glass in and a runner on top to give a 'fence' so the substrate doesn't fall out. Fit some mesh at the top for ventilation and then add sliding doors.

Should be perfect for a crestie or 2

a heat lamp would be better for a crestie, as you just want a generally warmer environment, heat mats provide an area for the gecko to get heat as if it would from rocks that have absorded the heat of the day

ive been told that people use heat mats on the bottom as heat rises it will cause a gradual ambient air temp
you allso dont want a warmer enviroment as they do better in cooler temps so ive been told

I would put the heatmat on the back or a side of the tank, they need an all round heat and not just the bottom heated. My house is a new flat so hardly ever gets cold, so mine can just sit at room temp
