How does metal racks convert to reptile racks? Ive seen these pretty cheap and they would come in handy in the right size.

If you heat the ambient of the room with an external heater and then simply heat one end of the tub with heat mats/stats to the hot end, then I think it would work. If you have a cold room though you may find the heat dissipates.. although you could always put a wooden back on it to try and hold some of the heat in.

You can get very similar racking at Ikea for £20.
To get the height you would need two and they stack on top of each other.

Here's a pic of two together. It's in my kitchen with all my junk on but you can see what I mean. You can place the shelves anywhere you like on the racking. I'm going and getting some for my rodent shed.
