Default Glass viv for a beardy???

Have seen a very nice glass viv in a pet shop, about 1m wide X 1m high X 0.5m deep (front to back), the reptile expert in the shop says it's ideal for a beardy or poss 2, but have had the one for so long alone, wouldn't have thought adding another would be a good idea.
Anyway is the above viv good for a beardy????

Valuing your judgement over someone selling me something anyday.

Many Thanks.

& do I read it correct that play sand is the best substrate, over expensive calci sand!!

You can use glass vivs - but...
Glass doesn't hold heat well, expect to spend more on electricity than if you had a wooden viv.
You will also need to cover three of the sides, so the Beardie doesn't feel too exposed and nervous.

It's also a bit on the small size for even a single adult BD (40" x 20")...

I was advised that would be ok, as he would use the height, as long as suitable climbing branches are provided.

You will also have difficulty fitting heat lamp and tube clips for uv lamp, i would go for a wooden viv 4ft wide, they do like to climb but not normaly 1 meter, if the shop is giving info like that i would stay clear of them - looks like he is trying to shift a glass viv.

What price was the viv?

ouch thats high!, i could make you a 4 x 2 x 2 in 18mm conti for less than that!!, beardie would have much more room and would be ok for 2.

The viv is too small for a beardie. They dont use height and arent the best climbers so its only providing risks giving them high branches to climb.
I would definitley go for a 4ft wooden viv over the tank in the shop!
