Default Hognose Stack occupied finally

Well the kids are very happy in their new stack system especially with the greenery - just right to climb into and hide ready for when mum opens the door to check they're still in there. 8 out of 10 have occupants all I need now is some extra aspen and they're sorted, only had 1 bag so not really got enough in there yet to play worms lol.

They look great, well done! Built yourself?

Got to ask though..... wondering why the mats are on the walls and not the floor, not a criticism, just a question for further info for when I stack my vivs.

Cheers

Paul

They were built by my friend in Swindon not me arrived with all the parts just had to finish the wiring myself.

The mats on the back wall as I decided to give it a go with just 1 mat in each see what sort of temps I got etc. Only problem was I needed spider mats for the bottom 2 as the 47 inch was the biggest I could get with the stack being larger.

Am happy to say the larger mats are on a pulse stat with switches for each so if I'm only using one stack I can switch the other off. The 2 bottom mats are on a normal mat stat via a 2 way plug so can just pull one if I just need the one stack.

They've got a nice gradient in there which I'm really pleased about as I was concerned that the single mats on the back wall wouldn't work and I'd need to try to wire up 10 small mats.

Sorry mate, didn't realise that it was just 1 mat over the 4 top vivs, that's a great idea. Thought you had 8 seperate mats on the walls and 2 on the bottom.
Excellent.

By the way, have got a Hognose on order for June/July, can't wait.

Cheers

Thanks Andy - morereptilesthanazoo - he would say its looking good on account he built them for me.

As Shadow eyed says its even better in the flesh so anyone want viv's building get in touch with Morerepstilesthanazoo, can't recommend the guy enough, he knows his stuff on reps as well as building the viv's.
