Default Bioactive Substrate

hi all, im havin in to having a bioactive substrate, with tropical / british woodlice colony,

could i use british woodlice and would they harm my emerald swift if he ate them??

also what size colony would i need for it to not be effected by him eating them??#

also would peat and reptile fertiliser be a good substrate choice??
