belated hello from south wales

Since birth I have had the privilege of growing up with animals both domestic and variety of wild animals. Presently I own map turtles, sliders, horsfiled tortoises, cats, rodents and a dog. I am also currently raising a beautiful song thrush chick who is coming on great

From a very young age I have shown a massive fascination in animals of all shapes and sizes and have always wanted to work with them.
A few years ago I successfully bread rabbits but sadly the mother died when the litter was only two weeks old and I hand raised the young on my own. I did this successful and after a few weeks they all went to new homes. Ive also raised a number of wild birds and I have rescued a number of injured wild animals then released them back to their environment when they were healthy.
I have always enjoyed watching animal documentaries and I have gained most of my animal knowledge from watching programs such as David Attenborough’s planet earth and the late Steve Irwin’s crocodile hunter. I believe these have inspired me immensely and made me determined to make it within the world of wildlife and conservation.

Next year I will go to university and study wildlife biology I cant wait

Hi I'm from South Wales too, North of Newport. I have 4 Horsefields, 2 rescue and 2 UK captive bred, enjoying the sun this week. Also a zoo of other beasties and hopefully a Beardie or two in the not too distant future!

awesome i believe one of my horsfields is WC mine have also been out enjoying the sun lol
