Default Howdy

Hi folks,

I'm Jake, form Lancs. I'm hopefully about to win a corner tank on Ebay, so I'll be turning my 50litre fish tank into a viv.

This seems like the best place around so I'll be mithering yers all for reptile info from now on. You've brought it on yourselves!

Cheers,

Jake

Hi Karl,

Dunno yet. That's why I'm here. Was after anoles but I read that they don't like being handled too much.

My girlfriend's ma can't stand snakes so that's out. Shame cos I always wanted one when I was a nipper. What do you recommend for a handleable lizard? The tank is 56cm x 30cm x 30cm.

Hmm Handleable lizards...

Theres quite a few you could start with leopard geckos a beardies would probably be top of the list.
I think the best thing you could do is have a look about at pictures see what catches your eye and then look up a caresheet for what you find.

I myself started out with a Chinese Water Dragon so its all down to what you like and are willing to look after

Good Luck! Karl

Hullo! Welcome!

I started with a male anole, i like display animals so did'nt buy them to handle.
Yup beardies and leo's are great! But i bet in time you'll end up with alot more than you first thought.
The hobby is addictive plain and simple!

You've brought it on 'yourself' coming here!

lol
