How rude of me!

My real name is Carina, and I'm a 21 year old art student studying illustration. A passion of mine since birth has always been drawing and animals...and the two go together quite well

I was born in the Chinese year of the rat, and coincidentally they're my favourite animal. I'd love to run a small rat rescue one day, but I love learning about all types of animals more than anything else.

Last summer I was looking after my neighbour reptiles while he was on holiday. He had three bearded dragons, a load of geckos and a couple of corn snakes. This was my introduction to the world of exotic pets, and I've been totally obsessed ever since (although those closest to me consider it unhealthy!).

The highlights of my life seem to commonly be to do with animals in one way or another. Whether it's seeing pilot whales in their natural habitat off the coast of Spain, or feeding the ducks on a warm afternoon....They all make my life that much brighter I'm just fascinated by any kind of creature, and reptiles and amphibians can be the weirdest bunch of all!
