Default A big Hello from me

Hi Folks

Well a little about myself, my name is Mike i live in Perth in Bonnie Scotland.
35 years old and about to buy two bearded dragons I have been advised two is better. ( please feel free to correct me.)

I joined this forum to get advice and join in on the fun of owning a exotic pet with you all.

At the moment no questions, I will no doubt save that for later.

Welcome to the forums mate

I will feel free to correct that info. Two males will always fight (and if you get dragons young they are very difficult to sex!). If you get two females sometimes they'll be okay together, but more often than not one will bully the other one for food, the best basking spot, everything like that, and the bullied one will be unhappy. So either way you'll need to have seperate vivs for each just in case you do need to seperate.

Its better to keep a dragon on its own as they are solitary as adults in the wild. Most people who get two end up having to seperate them later on. And they prefer human company to their own species anyway

Welcome To The Forum
Beardies are great lizards to keep as pets
its better to keep a bearded dragon on its own as it will rely on just you for attention and you dont generally have to keep them in a pair
but if you insist on getting a pair of beardies
a breeding pair would be recommended
but before you purchase make sure you have the correct setup ready
any more info needed feel free to pm me
