Hi guys
I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Andy and I've been keeping herps and inverts for about fifteen years. I started with stick insects, followed by anoles and european tree frogs. My current collection includes corns, boas, leos, spids, beetles, mantids, roaches and a cham.
I was also fortunate enough to study wild herps during my time at uni. I studied lacertids in the Canaries for my undergraduate project and anoles in the Lesser Antilles for my Masters. I was also lucky enough to spend four postgrad years studying the Caribbean anoles in more detail and this also gave me the opportunity to play with the boas (both boa constrictor and tree boas) out there as well. I currently teach biology in secondary school (11-18 - genetics lessons anyone!?

) and my animals make regular appearances at schools (both my own and others in the area).
Some of you may know me from other forums and hopefully those that don't will get to know me and my sporadic yet sometimes way over the top, super soapbox, 'went-right-into-one-there' type posting! (This first post probably gives you an idea (I know I should have gone with a simple watsup? !))
Anyway, Hello to all!
Pics of beasties to follow!
Cheers
Andy
