Default You want Santa to bring you two stick insects?

Hi

I am new here so by way of introducing myself I thought i would tell you what happend this Xmas. Santa, bless his cotten socks, did bring two Giant Spiny Stick Insects to our house for our 7 year old daughter who has a nack of getting ideas from, well, who knows where.

It was a shock to read her letter to Santa. There had been no documentaries on the TV, non of her friends have stick insects and we had not talked of them at all. So where the idea came from is a mystery.

The logistics for Santas helpers were somewhat stressful, well you can't leave these things to the very last minute can you. But we now have Molly and John in a two foot tank fish tank and they are still alive in spite of our lack of experience.

My reason for joining is simply to obtain some guidance over and above what we have found on the net in the form of care sheets. I have many questions which I will be putting in an appropriate thread later. For now I just want to say hi.

regards
