Pet shops prices are always higher though hun. They have to get their profit. I paid £75 for a breeding pair of versicolor so £25 for a sling is a bit steep. And have you seen the parents of the amazonica's? Were they WC or CB? (the adults). Are you 100% sure they're the real deal?

If you paid 80 quid for a 2cm smithi then you were well and truley ripped off. The most I've paid for an adult female is 60 and that was with a large faunarium.

5 Avic versi slings for £25 from The Spidershop..............that's what I paid. Plus no-one can be really sure of the parentage of things like amazonica, Avics have been so hybidised that you're never sure of getting the real deal with some of the so called "rare" ones. But, like the guy says if you don't like the prices, don't buy them. there's always the chance that someone will...........

It isn't being timewasters if it is too high, anyone who has made a comment keeps multiple collection of spiders for long enough to know that not one of those spiders is rare and not worth what is stated except the B smithi that is reasonable. Yes pet shops charge a lot for spiders, Many pet shops sell spiders on the side and deal more with reptiles but end of day a pet shop has over heads, bills, wages and ha to charge more but that's just how it is. It's nothing to do with being tight and looking for bargains it's simple supply and demand and the people know what the going price is. They just advising to drop to price if she wants to sell them

If You Cant Afford To Pay Top Prices Then You Shouldnt Have Pets In The First Place Because You Havent Got Enough Money To Care For Them Properly,like Vet Bills And Stuff.

I can afford to pay vets bill and to pay for the cost of my animals, thats like saying if you dont buy this 14" tv for £800 then you shouldnt have one cos how are you gonna afford electricity, the TV is just not worth that much, nor are those spiders. Thats a very crass comparison but its the same logic
