Default For sale: Acromantis Formosana and Creobroter Elongata

Hey guys, I have Acromantis formosana and a small amount of Creobroter Elongata available. Both are beautiful species with C. Elongata being orange with black eyes and abdomen, and A. Formosana being a typical flower mantis black.

C. Elongata L1 - £4 each.


A. Formosana L1 - £3 each.


(Pictures taken from internet, not of actual mantids being sold, but same species)

Royal mail special delivery - £5.50

I will trade for most species, just P me about it.

Smile Size and feeding

I gather as i always get confused that they are L1 Nymphs is that correct, what are they eating fruit flys ?? many thanks , great looking mantids

Hi, yeah they are eating fruit flies and they have not had their first moult yet.
You could keep two together until about L3 with lots of food maybe but it's best to keep them seperate.

i kept 10 x acromantids in 1ft x 1ft net cage but i made sure there was always fruit flys in the net cage..soon as they got to 5th instar they where on green bottles,1 day i forgot to throw the flys in and when i come to look at the cage i found 1 eating another so u can house them together like alot of species but u need a constant supply of food.

Thanks for the info MJ, I have found that this species(well both actually) has a very low nymph mortality rate. None have died from my original hatch last week.

These mantids are easy to care for. They only require a bit more heat than room temperature.
