the Phormictopus is still for sale.... in regards to the Phormictopus 'purple', i know of no others in UK atm.. i bought 3, sold 2 and kept one.. 1 died and the other, i havent seen or heard anything of.

Phormictopus 'purple' i think its likely P cancerides 'purple', but wasnt sold to me as such and i dont think it wise to relable unless professionaly identified

TBH, i cant understand still having these two, they really are absoultely stunning, hardy, entertaining. The P auratus is always out, the Purple generally is only ver half out of his hide, easy to draw him out of the hide tho, lol
AS mentioned, i know of no-opne else in the UK with any of the purples.
