A simple mistake using the name. Most people I expect thing that the term Sandfire is down to the colouration, not a specific line of bearded Dragon.

There is no registration process, or copyright when naming animals. In all reality the paper work from the breeders is actually worth jack shite. Its not legal or binding or anything at all.

So in theory anyone can call anything exactly what they like.

I think some knickers need untwisting!

I've got one of these little fellas and they are the most gorgeous babies I have seen, really bright in colour and not small like most 8 week babies you see on this forum. Does it really matter what morph it is? Or is it like buying a car? Oh, my one's better then yours, I've got a Jag yours is a piece of crap! THEY ARE PETS FOR GOD'S SAKE. GET A LIFE, IT'S NOT A FASHION SHOW.......

Sandra I agree with you in what your saying, but remember some ppl here also breed from their and may purchase for future plans. so to those they are not just pets... and most ppl hee just making a comment

if you bother to read WHY its important before you go off on one then maybe that would be helpful...
if you go to this thread here.. People MISELLING reptiles

there is a debate about this very thing.. the first few pages are possibly arguementative but at the end of the thread bubble and some others and myself managed to sort a lot out and there were some excellent points made

and for future breeding plans its 100% important to know...

page 8 onwards is probably helpful in the definition part
I have a bright yellow beardie who is stil a normal till i check him by breeding...
the topic is discussed by very well respected members of this forum who know a lot about genetics...

For anyone that is interested, here are few snaps taken on my phone of the babies that I bought from Bubble&Squeak. They are excellent lizards, each developing their own personalities and eating and growing very well. Top man B&S

As felt in europe....sandfire is a colur and there is no other way to describe it.....if from Sandfire Ranch then you would refer directly to the babies as sandfire ranch or sandfire ranch offsprings...............?

Sparkle u mis understood what i was tring to say and sorry for the way it was written, i was not condoning whats happened and when i said ai agree with sandra i ment that they were nice babies and looked a good size. i cant take anything away from them. but i totally disagree with selling them as sandfires as u can see earlier i the post im importing a trio from the ranch and paying a fortune. so yeah it gets my back up when ppl then say bthey have sandfires that only cost them 20 quid... as i said unless the parents came from the ranch they are not true sandfires

hope that straightens things up

I do have certicficates from sandfire ranch but they are the babies and been born and bred by sandfire ranch. sandfire is a colouration if from the ranch then specify as they do in Europe either say the colouration or from particular place. the woman is trying to sell her beardies at £20 for a colouration nothing else, accept it or stay off this thread. You guys arguing are a joke!!!!!!!!

so they are sandfires cause they originated there and have certificates to back ur claims

Totally, I have sandfires with certicficates from the ranch, but hey, sanfire is a colour and I totally have no objections as in europe to people saying they have sandfires as it is a colour...it is acceptable. People over here are so upo there on @@@. dont buy mine or the lady selling beardies, no worries but this is not a discussion it is a sale and a moderator should step in and stop this nonsense. If you dont like them dont buy them............... let the lady get on with her sale. Is it cause it is a threat to you people on what stock you have and your sales that is the problem? she has beardies...nice colour, healthy for sale, give it up!!!!!!! Stay in the modern age....eruope and US!!!!
