My baby beardeds at 12 wks were a good 15 - 17 inches their father is a big boy but their mother was from large stock just not too large herself.
The clutch were about 80% giants and the rest normals, its going to be interesting to see how this years clutch with a giant female work out in comparison. It might be worth while going for an above average sized baby to give you larger progeny when/if you breed later. There is a female collard in our local shop trouble is its in South Derbyshire I'm afraid. |

Just re measured them as they seem to have a growth spirt. the bigger one is 14 inches, however has always had the end of his tail missing. the second is 13 inches.
