oh looks like theres no cresties this year...or the next. they go straight away in the shop by me. Ive tried contacting every ad suitable on freeads, adtrader, preloved, reptileclassifieds, among others. I found a few reasonable ones, but they cant deliver or theyre too far away.

if you want 2 cresties in the same viv, but cant afford 2 females (which yes you wont find cheap) then why not buy 2 unsexes babies, and a 45X45X60 tall Exoterra (RRP £69 so not too much) and be ready to put a divider in if you end up with 2 males. All you need is a piece of opaque material, like pvc or wood and fix it vertically down the centre of the viv so the 2 cant get to, or see each other.

thats what ive been asking for now. I want two unsexed now as females are gonne be at least 5/6months anyway and a pain to get. I didnt know i could use a divider, but all the exo terras available to me round here are quite expensive (cant buy on net as no bank card) one shop is selling it that size for 150, the other for 80 and the other shop isnt selling them at all. But he selling something that is exaclty the same he says and just as good, if not better. the only difference is it provides more ventilation and theres one sliding door at the front and not opening doors which would be no good for seperating two geckos. That cage is 63. If I got it wrong and there are two sliding doors but only one opens at a time then that would be ok, but theres still the trouble of getting the babies. I cant find any anywhere. I may be able to get the viv this coming week too, but then id have to get allthe stuff for it, plants and vines etc. I wanna get a log thing with a slit in it that the geckos can climb up and crawl through the slit to hide away. seen one on youtube on a video called icky is brave or something.
grrrr:P i want them so much!!

well if they are trying to charge that much for an exoterra its ridiculous! i suppose you're pretty remote though. Have you heard that theGeckoSpot (Cwmbran) is selling up? if you could get there then she has (or at least did have) a couple of the big exoterras that she may also be selling. If you really cant find any Cresties near you then what i'd suggest if you really want them is to find someone as close as possible with some nice healthy babies for sale, and make the trip out to get them, on the way you can stop by a petshop selling Exoterras for a reasonable price and set it up when you get back. Cresties are best kept at warm room temperature, so the viv doesnt need to be set up before you get them in order to heat up, so thats not an issue. It's best to keep them on kitchen paper and simply setup until adult anyway so t wont take long to construct when you get back
