Somerset is a fiar way away (great place). We was there last year for our hols (minehead) took us about 4-5 hours from Manchester. I'd say worth the drive for that price. I'm not ready for more yet -need to move house first. Good luck

Highbridge is near Weston-Super-Mare, should know was born in weston.
To get to it without motorways and the gridlocks, is the A38.(Bridgwater road.) Sundays is best day for travelling to there. (must say to, got a good fishing lake there as well. : ;0) :
I can get to it, in about an hour easy.
But seeing as i am after a Iggy. (the viv would have been ideal tho.) i got to go without. ho hum.
