i know where your coming from but the ones on tha other thread as far as rick was saying are selectively bred, as you can see from the pics they do look a lot redder than these ones so prob will of been selectively bred

chances are at soem point... the morph came about int he wild from "random selective breeding" erm..if you know what i mean... and in captivity the reddest of the reds would have been used for selective breeding to get the truest or best red iguana morph...

Probably.
However red iguana juvies ive seen pics of have had green on thier underbellies...which sugests maybe green iggys green iggys [lol] have been selectivevely erm..bred to get it from scratch... oh lol confusing.

what can be done in captivity clearly can happen in the wild and all coem from the same thing originally so im sure its a mix of both.

These are Red phase green iguanas. I was speaking to the guy that imported them from Equador this morning. They get to the same size as green iguanas as they are green iguanas.

are these just the same as green iggs
