yes, same here re the breeding thing, I don't know exactly which way I'm going as yet.
That's something you can't really decide until young have actually hatched & you've seen the typical offspring of a set pair I suppose of course

pity about not wanting to breed the female Super Snow , imho the really white Super Snows are stunning, would luv one but I'm the same as yourself when it comes to the welfare of animals (in general)

Would have been nice to do the super snow x super snow but he hi-yellow normal x super snow should be interesting though huh

That Blizzard is beautiful though Brat ,

the Blizzard GrantT mentioned further up the thread is on reserve for me (thanx for that Grant mate), I called next morning and pick her up this Saturday so I'll post pics in a new thread when I get some done.

She has a yellowish hue to her though not all white like yours, wondered if she was a) a proper Blizzard?, b) a Banana Blizzard? c) or a Blizzard with a yellowish colour? lol
I haven't seen her but GrantT has & I think he knows his leos, he would have said if she was anything else, she is also being sold as a Blizzard so.....

Btw, I have saved a pic of your Blizzard from this thread onto my pc, hope ya dont mind but she really is a nice gecko!

Apparently they can yes?

Don't see many, I haven't seen any at all other than in a book, unless I have but they've been referred to as Diablo Blanco lol

Have a look at the morphs link here
I dunno about everything on this page being correct but I use it for reference from time to time still

Quote:
Blazing Blizzard All white body with red eyes. These can occur with any strain of albino but are genetically incompatable with each other.

In fact Melon

melanie has a beautiful looking Redeye Blazing Blizzard!

you can see her(?) in this post .

I'd love such a morph amongst my crew

I'm not real up to speed with the terminology used in leo breeding, I understand genetics etc but the terms still cause me to get confused

For example,
Quote:
leucistic geckos are pure white with jet black eyes. This phase name is possibly the true name of the Blizzard phase
What I'm getting at is the use of Hypo, Super Hypo etc in reference to leucistic & other older terms can cause confusion for me.

Glad you like him, he is a cute lil thing.
Blizzards can have shades of yellow all over them, and also some come across as pretty grey, whereas blazing blizzards are more white.. I think.
I'm still not up on all my morphs, I just get whichever ones I think are pretty. I personally don't think Enigma's are pretty even though they're a high morph..
