cheers mate, shes shedding at the moment and im a clean freak so im litter picking all the time now, that and the amount of crap these guys produce, ive just added a large square sandstone brick for them to eat on , now they get absolutely no sand in their food or water.

In response to the sand question - Babies should not be kept on calci sand nor desert sand, this can block them inside. Nasty Nasty!
I keep my babies on un-dyed kitchen towels, until they are at least 6-7 inches, and then I put them on the sand.
