i try to put the bowl up on the rocks so it doesnt go in sand though they have knocket it down a few times, yes they have always been on sand since i got em, i personally want to use reptile carpet but i heard altering the ground they walk on i.e soft to hard can dammage their claws so i decided to stick to sand. will be putting some sort of natural looking shelf in the far left corner to put the food on so its up and out of the way. ive heard of hanging greens to stop it geting dirty i may try this.
