hehe the black and white one is a mack snow baby The other is a normal jungle leo, I also have an albino whose parents were a blizzard and a tremper hybino.

They are about 9 weeks i think now, and are so sweet and friendly. When I can sex them ( i ordered a loupe) and they are old enough, you can stud them if you want! I would love to make super snows at some point.

The cave gecko is digging holes at the moment so she may lay soon also might have some more gargoyle eggs in the next few days!!

Wow!, theres no yellow at all!, not that I can see anyway?, that's the type of leo that would attract my attention too

I was told that if you cross a normal phase & a Mack Snow, you are guaranteed to get normals or Mack Snows, one or the other, do you know if thats correct?
It came from a breeder but I can't say as I have never seen the outcome of two such leos for myself?

Yes, I like him & would like to see how he looks when he's older, he's gonna have a nice jungle pattern anyway

See it's hard to judge as I have nothing to compare sizes to but I was told this Blizzard is 6mnths old?

I don't doubt the guy but he didn't breed her so he doesn't know for def, you can see how big she is in the pic with the small plant pot dishes, those are only about 4" diameter

Hi There,

Just a wee update

I'm happy to tell you that I cleaned out another stool from her viv this morning and it wasn't watery or runny at all, it looked pretty much the same colour & consistency as it should
Maybe just a wee bit stress with the car journey & new home etc?

I think her apparent friendliness on the first night she came home was curiosity as, from yesterday morning (Sunday), she has been in hiding only really coming out when the house is quiet and/or the light in her viv is off

She is still very used to being handled, has been everyday until Saturday but I'm just leaving her to get settled in before I continue the daily handling

In fact, I would love to hear what everyone else thinks about handling ,

some say leos love being handled and should be daily but others seem to say they can be handled and may enjoy it to an extent but not excessive handling therefore occasional handling is better?

Personally, Kali has been handled, not everyday but 2-3 times a week anyway, Blaze probably about the same while Shiva & Shanti I don't really handle too much as yet as they have only been here for just over a week

Shanti is the cooler of the two and is going to be the easiest to tame I think, that said Shiva is more skittish but is always the first one to stick her nose into anything new or such likes while Shanti seems to wait until after Shiva has checked stuff out first lol

Btw, once the Blizzard is big enough, I should be able to put her in beside Shiva and Shanti as long as there is no bullying or anything going on rite?

After having spoken briefly with a breeder about Lucy (? - Leucistic - ?) possibly being a patternless as opposed to a blizzard?

True, I haven't seen a blizzard this dark before and also GlasgowGecko has a Murphy's Patternless on his site called Big Lad that looks just like my latest acquisition. I'm talking near identical here?

Tbh, I was told I didn't have to take her when I went to see her so I can't really say anything, besides she' going nowhere now! lol

Anna, I was sent some pics this evening of some beautiful mack & super snows, there are pics of young mack snows there.

I see now about the macks being all B&W when they are young

Wouldnt like to say this for def from a pic but i would of guessed the bliz is actually a pattenless...goin by its neck pattern.
I have added up to my baby bliz hatch and a murphy pattenless hatch
only a murphy pattenless has that neck pattern


These two are murphy pattenless.the white markings along the spine dissapear n he,she becomes yellow in body white tail.

Don't think it's posted in this thread? but the conclusion has been reached that she's definitely no Blizzard but indeed a patternless (Murphy's Patternless?).

Nevertheless I took her home with me anyway, she is a morph I never had and may be useful in a future breeding program

I'd still love a nice Blizzard at some point but have gotten a female Mack Snow (Phoenix) & a male Hi-Yellow (Marshall) since getting the Patternless (Lucy) with a really nice Super Snow being held for me that I really need to get my finger out about as she has been on reserve for me for longer than I would normally like.

I like your pics there btw , your patternless has the same colour of tail as mine (Lucy's tail I mean, I had mine surgically removed lol), a bit darker around the head maybe

I'll get a few more pics of her taken when she comes out to play later tonight & post em.

What age (how many days?) are the youngsters in your pics mate?

erm... pattenless is over a month now n pure lazy.. the two bliz are 3 weeks but sold them had two more hatch last night.i have a few other bits laying about if your ever after a morph let me know.
