how long have you had them in your care? they are more than likely wild caught so it does take a bit of time to get them fully hydrated. you can try give them a couple of waxys but obviously dont over do it. they could do with fattening up a bit. what greens are you offering? you could try get some sprouted alfalfa co op have just started stocking this fresh.also some sprouted mung beans u may have to sprout these yourself the uros go mad for them. if you dont want the hassle of sprouting them yourself you could grab some beansprouts but i dont think these are as good as the ones you sprout yourself as they retain some water in the roots straight after picking and the beansprouts in stores dont have the same water/nutritional content if you know what i mean. you could like dean says try feeding water via a syringe, pipette type of thing but ive never found them to take to this method. its all about getting the right food into them and of course time and patience. how many times a week are you feeding insects?

I've had them for four months, they get curly kale which my friend from work told me is good for them, she knows her stuff as her sister works in a reptile shop.
I feed them every other day and like i said i always make sure their food gets washed so theres always water in their bowl aswell. I will get them some alfalfa from co-op and try them with that, i don't think they'd appreciate me trying to give them water from a pipette. I thank you for your advise. |

kurly kale is not the best food to give them
too much is no good for them and should only be given as a treat. they should really being eating greens like romaine, endive, dandelion leaves, spring greens, parsley, spinich, daisys, dill, rosemary, sage,s orrel, various species of grass can also be offered. they should be having a variety of these greens and also a variety of seeds should be offered daily such as,,green and red lentils, small grain corn, small green peas, barley, wheat, soy beans, vetch, oats, hemp, mung beans, sunflower seeds, buckwheat, millet, pinenuts. they can also be fed various insects such as cockroaches, waxys, crickets, locusts,an adult uro should be getting these once or twice a week and juvies should be getting them 4-7 times a week. their diet should vary ie:change the food offered often
